About

I like building things for the web. But I didn't always know this about myself.

In college, my passion was focused on people: I studied social-cultural anthropology and women's studies and worked closely with the school's accessibility center. Afterwards, I spent several years with a small web startup where I gained experience in the technical support, account management, and implementation departments. One day, I stumbled upon an odd little web editor and found myself playing with a wonderful Javascript library called p5.js...and I couldn't stop fiddling1. I went on to teach myself JavaScript, and I haven't looked back.

While my urge to tinker with code has matured, I'm always working on developing my itch to dabble. These days, you can find creating robust, accessible, and perhaps even whimsical work every day. I aspire to always be iterating, and am looking forward to my next project.
